Programs

At Little Linguists International Preschool, every stage of childhood is important. From a baby’s first milestones to preparing for kindergarten, our programs are designed to meet children where they are and help them grow with confidence. Small class sizes, nurturing teachers, and a play-based, language-rich approach make each day meaningful for your child.

INFANTS (6 weeks – 12 months)

Infants at LLIP are cared for in a safe, loving environment where routines are consistent and comforting. Teachers build strong bonds with each baby while encouraging early development such as movement, sensory play, and first words. Spanish is introduced naturally through songs, stories, and gentle conversation, giving babies the gift of early language exposure.

TODDLERS (1-Year-Olds)

One-year-olds are curious explorers. In our toddler classrooms, children begin practicing independence through walking, feeding, and simple routines. Teachers guide early social skills such as sharing and taking turns while encouraging language through songs, play, and storytelling. Spanish is woven into daily interactions, helping children connect words to the world around them.

TODDLERS (2-Year-Olds)

Two-year-olds are busy learners, full of energy and discovery. Our two-year-old classes focus on building vocabulary, fine and gross motor skills, and early problem-solving. Teachers encourage self-help skills like handwashing, dressing, and early toilet learning. Play remains central, with Spanish immersion shaping comprehension and communication every day.

PRESCHOOL (3–4 Year Olds)

Preschool at LLIP is where curiosity and imagination flourish. Children learn through hands-on centers such as art, blocks, dramatic play, and discovery. Teachers introduce early literacy and math concepts in playful, age-appropriate ways while also focusing on social-emotional development. In some classrooms, three- and four-year-olds learn together, creating opportunities for peer mentoring and collaboration. Spanish immersion is integrated into every routine, story, and activity, helping children communicate with confidence.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN (4–5 Year Olds)

Pre-K at LLIP prepares children for kindergarten success. Teachers use the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) and the Creative Curriculum to support early reading, writing, math, and problem-solving. Children practice independence and leadership skills while continuing to grow socially and emotionally.

Spanish immersion continues daily, and at our Decatur campus, children are also introduced to Mandarin. By the time they graduate, LLIP students are ready for kindergarten — confident, curious, and well-prepared for school and for life.

OPTIONAL PROGRAMS

In addition to our core programs, LLIP offers After-School and Summer Camp options. These programs extend learning, provide enrichment, and give children more time to play, explore, and build friendships in a supportive environment.
